Flight

A Java based tester for web applications

Introduction

Flight is a framework that lets you write tests for websites.

You write a JavaScript program and run it in Flight's simulator software. The your script tells the framework what URLs to visit, what form data to submit, etc.

Features

• Flexible definition of testing procedure (using JavaScript)
• Can run tests on multiple threads at once
• Record scripts using a plugin for the Muffin web proxy

Non-features

• Does not execute client-side scripts (DHTML, etc)
• Doesn't yet have the flexibility required for testing complex work-flows

Download the current alpha version flight-0.1.2.tar.gz (1,016,828 bytes)
This download includes the binaries of Muffin 0.9.3a, Rhino and HTTPClient 0.3-2 (with included patch applied)
